I want to take the guesswork out of selling your car. I analyze market data, decode DMV title laws, and test out online car buyers to give you a straight answer on whether it's worth holding out for a higher price or if you're better off taking the most convenient offer and moving on.

The bottom line: JunkMyCar isn’t actually a car buyer. It’s a referral site that sends you straight to Peddle. You fill out your car info on their site, but you never deal with JunkMyCar after that.

Once you submit your details, you land on Peddle’s website. Peddle gives you the quote, schedules pickup, and handles everything else. JunkMyCar is just the middleman that connects you.

Either way, compare offers from multiple services before deciding.

How Junk My Car Works?

You go to the JunkMyCar website and type in your car’s year, make, model, mileage, and condition. They also ask if you have a clean title.

Here’s the thing though. You won’t get a quote from JunkMyCar. Their site just sends you over to Peddle automatically. From there, you’re working with Peddle for everything.

What Happens After Redirection?

Once you’re on Peddle’s site, they look at your car info and make you an offer. That offer usually stays good for seven days.

If you like the offer and accept it, Peddle sets up a time to grab your car. They work with tow truck drivers in all 50 states, so they can pick up pretty much anywhere.

Peddle might ask you to upload photos of your car and title before pickup, especially if your car is worth more. When the tow driver shows up, they check that your car looks like what you described. If something doesn’t match, the offer might change.

Payment is usually a check or cash, but it depends on the tow company. Make sure your car is parked somewhere the tow truck can reach it.
