Focus on the full experience. Describe the initial challenge (e.g., how long it took, low
offers, condition of the car), the solution (how you found a better buyer or used a comparison tool), and the
final outcome (the price and convenience). Your goal is to give practical advice to other sellers.
What specific evidence is required for the “Proof of Sale” photo?
The “Proof of Sale” must confirm the transaction. This can be a photo of the final,
completed Bill of Sale, a redacted copy of the buyer’s bank check, or a screenshot of a bank transfer
confirmation. Remember to redact sensitive personal information.
Are all car buyers and marketplaces eligible?
Yes, we accept stories regardless of how you sold your car. This includes private sales
(e.g., Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist), sales to traditional dealerships, and sales to online instant-offer
companies (e.g., Peddle, Carvana).
What are the requirements for eligibility and content approval?
To be eligible, you must be 18 years of age or older, and your household is limited to a
maximum of three (3) submissions total. Submissions are rejected if they are fraudulent, incomplete, or violate
the rules (e.g., being under the 150-word minimum or missing any required photo evidence).
How soon can I expect to receive my gift card?
The verification and fulfillment process can take up to 30 days from the date of your
successful submission.
Does the age or condition of my vehicle matter?
No. We accept stories about the sale of any vehicle, regardless of its year, mileage, or
condition (e.g., selling a late-model SUV or a car with a blown engine).
Will you edit my story or photos before publishing?
We reserve the right to edit the text for clarity, grammar, and style, but we will not
change the core facts or details of your selling experience. Photos may be cropped or resized.
